Thanks to Capsulejay and RunRunRosie, I’ve registered for a marathon to run with them. Gulp. This is the first weekly overview of my training.
Figuring out how to train for a 5k is tough. You’re not training for a marathon, but you’re certainly not running sprints either.
Couch-to-5K is broken because a real couch-level beginning runner can’t even do the first day. Here’s my suggestion to making Day 1 go smoothly for yourself as a new athlete.
The Star Wars half-marathon was one of the most fun experiences I’ve ever had. I absolutely understand why people say runDisney races are different now. Especially the Star Wars races.
The second day of getting up between 2 and 2:30 am was a little rougher. Not bad, but after having put a pretty solid day in at Hollywood Studios, my alarm wasn’t the best sound I’d ever heard.
